This blower would be best for anyone that tends to get dry, light snow. One of the problems with this blower is that if you are trying to clear wet or slushy snow, the chute gets clogged frequently. The clearing path of this blower is 21 inches.

The electric start was a nice touch but you can also just pull the cord. Even if you have to pull the cord, this Ariens blower starts up nice and quick. While it’s not self-propelled, the auger does a nice job of pulling the machine forward a bit.

You can also control the speed of the auger which will also help you push the machine along. This is also a really good blower to have if you need to tackles hills and inclines.
