EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power Snow Blower Review – Is It Any Good?
Choosing a snow blower isn’t like choosing what movie to watch tonight.
The wrong choice could leave you with buyer’s remorse for years. Worse yet, it could leave you with a driveway full of unmovable snow.
But we get it – it’s hard to choose the right snow blower what with all the options that are available. The first distinction you have to make is between gas and battery-powered blowers.
Battery-powered blowers are better for the environment, don’t require much maintenance and are more affordable.
A lot of people gravitate toward battery-powered snow blowers for these very reasons so we went out and tested a very popular battery–powered model: the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power.
Let’s take a look at how it performed and its important specs and features.

How Does it Perform
One thing we really liked about the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power was the runtime.
With both batteries loaded, you can get nearly an hour of runtime. The steel augers cut up snow well but we wish they were serrated.
Instead, they have these long fins that don’t do the job that serrated blades do. Still, they are durable and allow the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power to handle hard snow.
How Much Snow Can it Handle
The EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power has a 21” inch clearing path and can handle about 10 inches of snow with one pass.
How Far Does it Throw Snow?
At the highest auger speed, the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power can throw snow up to 40 feet.
How Loud is it?
The EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power, like many electric blowers, is surprisingly quiet.
How Heavy is it?
The EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power weighs about 63 pounds without the batteries loaded.
Is it Easy to Maneuver?
The EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power is lightweight so it’s fairly easy to maneuver. However, it isn’t self-propelled so you have to do all the pushing and pulling which can be burdensome in 8+ inches of snow.
How Durable is it?
Most of the components are made of steel but some are made of plastic or polyurethane so it’s moderately durable.
What Type of Auger Does it Have?
The EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power has a steel auger with adjustable speed.
How Long Does the Battery Last?
When you have both batteries loaded up, you can get a max runtime of about 54 minutes.
How Can You Replace the Battery?
The batteries can be easily replaced simply by clicking them out of the battery bay.
Rubber Vs Steel Auger
Rubber augers tend to be safer for delicate surfaces like wooden decks while steel augers are better at chewing through hard-packed, wet and hard snow.
EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power VS SNT2112
The SNT2112 version is slightly larger and heavier than the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power. The only real difference is that the SNT2112 can handle snow that has piled up to about 12 inches.
EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power Vs SNT2114
These two snow blowers are the same in every way. The only difference is the batteries. The SNT2114 version comes with two 7.5Ah batteries so the runtime is about 20 minutes longer than the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power.
How Long Should it Last?
It’s not unreasonable to think that the EGO Power+ SNT2110 Peak Power will last at least 5 years.
