#5 – BISSELL CleanView Connect Robotic Vacuum – Best Robot Vacuum
Selling Points:
- Smartphone control
- Roller and brush suction
- 5 inches tall
If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t have a ton of time for cleaning, the BISSELL CleanView Connect Robotic Vacuum is perfect for you. This is a robot cleaner and you can control it from your smartphone!
You can even set a schedule for it to start and stop cleaning. Another really cool thing about the BISSELL CleanView Connect Robotic Vacuum is that it utilizes two dual edge brushes and a cylindrical roller.
Most robot vacuums just have a couple of brushes and don’t really get your surfaces truly clean; but the addition of the cylindrical roller really makes a difference with the BISSELL CleanView Connect Robotic Vacuum.
It has a 1400 Pa rated motor so it is pretty powerful for a robot vacuum. It’s only 3.5 inches tall too so it can get under most pieces of furniture.
You can charge the BISSELL CleanView Connect Robotic Vacuum by plugging it into the wall but the remote does require new batteries every once in a while.
Pros:
- Automatic cleaning
- Cylindrical roller
- Runs quiet
Cons:
- Needs to be recharged often
Overall Score: 95/100

- Triple action brush roller
- Cord rewind feature
- Washable filter
The BISSELL Cleanview Rewind Pet 2489 would be a good choice for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with filter replacements.
That’s because the filter can be removed, washed by hand with just some warm water and dish soap and replaced.
The BISSELL Cleanview Rewind Pet 2489 also has a specialized pet brush attachment which was very good for sucking up pet hair from rugs, carpets and even upholstered furniture.
It has a 25 foot power cord so mobility wasn’t really an issue – just be advised that it weighs over 13 pounds so it might not be the best choice if you really want a lightweight vacuum cleaner.
And while it may seem like a minor feature, the Bissell Cleanview Rewind has an automatic cord rewind function.
If you’re anything like us, you hate wrapping the cord up after you’re done vacuuming. So this little quality of life feature really came in handy for us.
Pros:
- Great for pet hair
- Doesn’t scatter debris on hardwood floors
- Edge-to-edge cleaning
Cons:
- It’s a bit heavy

#7 – Bissell Cleanview Deluxe Corded Handheld Vacuum – Best Handheld Vacuum
Selling Points:
- Wide cleaning path
- 7-liter dust cup
- Includes a wide mouth tool
What we really liked about the Bissell Cleanview Deluxe Corded Handheld Vacuum compared to other handheld mini vacuums was that the cleaning path was nice and wide.
Usually, with these kinds of compact vacuums, you get a very narrow cleaning path which means you have to spend more time cleaning surfaces.
But this vacuum not only has a wide cleaning path; it even comes with a wide mouth tool that makes the cleaning path even wider!
And it doesn’t lose suction power when you put the wide mouth tool on. Other attachments include an extender hose and crevice tool which is very handy for getting into tight spaces like in between couch cushions.
Keep in mind that this is a handheld vacuum but it’s not cordless. The power cord is 18 feet though so you can move around pretty much at will.
It only weighs 5 pounds too so it’s a great choice for anyone who wants a lightweight vacuum.
Pros:
- Great for cars and RV’s
- 4 amp motor
- 2 liter dust cup
Cons:
- Not great for low-pile carpets
Overall Score: 96/100

Bissell FAQ’s
Q: Is Bissell Cleanview Good for Carpets?
Yes. All of the Cleanview vacuums we tested worked very well on carpets. However, if you have low-pile carpets, you may want to opt for a model that features the triple-action roller.
The triple-action roller was more effective on low-pile carpets than the normal brush rollers.
Q: Can you Use Bissell Cleanview on Hardwood Floors?
Yes. Bissell Cleanview vacuums are effective on hardwood floors and bare floors. Furthermore, they won’t damage your hardwood floors.
Shark Vs Bissell
Shark is another reliable brand that you may be considering if you are shopping for a new vacuum.
Shark vacuums may be more suitable for people with sensitive allergies because they make vacuums with tightly-sealed HEPA filters.
For instance, the Shark NV356E S2 Navigator has a HEPA filter that can trap 99.9% of dust and allergens in your home.
It’s an upright vacuum but you can actually lift the motor off of the frame for better mobility and easier cleaning of overhead surfaces.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that Shark vacuum cleaners are usually more expensive than Bissell vacuums. You may also not need the special features that they charge extra for.
Q: Which Bissell Vacuum is Best for Pets?
The BISSELL 2252 CleanView Swivel vacuum that we tested was more than adequate for getting pet hair out of high and low-pile carpet.
It comes with a specialized pet brush which was really good for getting pet hair out of upholstered furniture.
And the dust cup is really easy to empty even if you have to do it often – a great feature for anyone who has a pet that sheds a lot.
Q: Is Bissell or Hoover Better for Pet Hair?
We like Bissell because they make models that are specifically designed to pick up pet hair.
Q: How Long Should a Bissell Vacuum Last?
That will depend on the model but typically, you can expect about 8 years out of a Bissell vacuum with proper maintenance and care.
Q: What Are the Best Bissell Cleanview Attachments?
The best attachments are the soft brush attachment that allows you to safely suck up debris from your couches and upholstered furniture and the crevice tool which makes it easier to get into hard to reach spots.
However, if you have a pet that sheds a lot, you are probably going to want a Bissell vacuum that comes with a special pet brush.
The pet brush is a motorized attachment with its own roller – ideal for picking up deep-seated pet hairs from carpets, rugs and furniture.
Bissell Cleanview Belt Replacement
Every so often, you may have to replace the drive belt on your Bissell Cleanview vacuum.
In general, you shouldn’t have to worry about belt replacement if you are storing your Bissell Cleanview vacuum in a dry area and using it properly.
However, if the belt becomes compromised, Bissell does sell replacement belts on their official website.
You will have to know your model number though because different Cleanview vacuums require different belt sizes.
Replacing the drive belt is easy though. You simply secure the belt around one roller and stretch it to go around the opposite roller.
